I wrote one page of my rough draft this weekend and continued my study of Borges and his works. After taking a look into Borges’ past, I found some interesting information for the biography page. Who knew that Borges and his father both suffered from blindness? His past and interesting life has influenced his writing over the years. Many of his short stories and poems (probably his essays too, but I haven’t looked at them) are based on events in his life with a mysterious, sometimes magical, twist. I have read many of his poems and 2 of his short stories. The project is going well.
